Meet Linda

“I have been teaching at Kunyung Pre-School for over 20 years, ever since my own daughters attended the Preschool.
I have an Early Childhood Diploma of Teaching, which qualifies me to teach Preschool and Primary School aged children.
I have focused on working with Preschool children, as I really enjoy the honesty, joy and enthusiasm our 3 to 5 year old children have for life.
I teach the 3 year old group and one of the 4 year old groups.
I enjoy working with our children and their families, and am also lucky to be working alongside our other professional and caring staff members.
We are all part of a team that supports our families, our children and each other.”
Meet Carole

“Hi my name is Carole and I am the kindergarten teacher for the Dolphins group, one of our two 4 year old groups.
I have been in early childhood education for over 20 years, starting as an assistant, I found my passion for this age group and went on to complete my Diploma, followed by my Degree (with Honours), and completed my Masters in Play Therapy.
I love coming to work and know that whatever the day has in store, I will always have a laugh and share a moment with a child in which it’s the first time they have achieved something or found a passion for something, and knowing I helped this to happen is so rewarding.
I live locally and have 3 boys who keep me busy. In my spare time I love to read, spend time with my family and enjoy the beaches that Mt Eliza and surrounding areas have to offer.
I feel very privileged to be able to be a part of the Kunyung preschool team and look forward to growing alongside your children.”
Meet Katherine

“I have been an assistant at Kunyung Preschool for the past 15 years.
I love being involved with children especially at this very early stage of their development when life is full of discovery and expectations.
Apart from my work, my own ever growing family is very much central to me.
I am very active, love a hit of tennis, horse riding, long walks on the beach, reading, current affairs and at the present my husband and I are finishing building a new house and landscaping.”
Meet Shelley

“Hi I’m Shelley, I have been working as a co-educator with the 4 year olds for several years now at Kunyung Preschool.
I hold a cert 3 in children’s services and a Diploma in welfare. I have been working within the industry since 1991.
I really enjoy working at the preschool and enjoy building positive relationships with the children and the families that attend the centre.
When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.”
Meet jenni
“I always look forward to sharing and being part of your family’s preschool journey.” – Jenni
“I am one of the co-educators at Kunyung Preschool and have lived in Mount Eliza for 30 years.
I am qualified with certificates in children’s services and integration aid/teachers aid.
I have worked with children for the past 20 years and now look forward to sharing and being a part of your family’s preschool journey, which my own daughters were apart of.”

“Hi, my name is Diana. I am one of the co-educators for the 3year old group and the lunchtime cover educator for both 4 year old groups.
I have a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and I have been working with children since 2006.
I enjoy being a part of the children’s joy of discovery and wonder as they learn through play.
I live in Mount Eliza and love spending time with my two sons and exploring the Mornington Peninsula for the best coffee (and Portuguese tart).”
Meet CHERMEINE

“I have been an early childhood teacher for the past 13 years. My Bachelor of Early Childhood Education allows me to teach in both Kindergarten and Primary School settings.
In 2023, I joined the team here at Kunyung Preschool where I have been welcomed by the staff, committee and families of Mount Eliza.
I am committed to learning through play and I promise that together we will have lots of messy fun each and every session.
I am a mum to three grown up children and one very cheeky Labrador and I love spending time with them. I like to travel and I am always planning my next adventure.”
